Home for the Holidays

Well... our 'Home for the Holidays' has turned into 'Home for the Happy New Year.' That's okay. I'm over it now. There was a travel saga thanks to the wonderfully beautiful snowy crappy New England weather. Actually, had Caveman's flight schedule been on time he'd have arrived last Friday and would be going home day after tomorrow. Now, he'll be here tomorrow morning (yippee!) and will be here through next Sunday. I'm excited. We'll have a belated Christmas this Sunday and then New Year's next Wednesday. Should be a fun week. I'll work a little just because the shop is short the usual staff but will be off the majority of the time. Nola will enjoy her stick from Cape Cod that we left in Boston. She's excited about that stick.

July & August Video

(Foliage in Vermont, coming soon!)

Change of Plans...

So, we didn't make it up to New York for Thanksgiving. Instead, Nola came along and we went to Cape Cod. It's a long story but I'll save it for a rainy day (really, I will!). Here's a post about our trip! Enjoy! (And yes, at some point I'll get around to actually posting the pictures and video here!)

Hmm, I just realized I never posted the video from July and August. I'll do that now...

Vermont

Once upon a time Spaghetti dreamed about going to Vermont. She imagined rolling hills and apple orchards, fresh markets and maple syrup. Upon learning this, Caveman decided they must visit this highly romanticized, distance land. He booked reservations at the Stowe Inn and in October, off they went!

Vermont was exactly what Spaghetti imagined!

There were even Christmas trees -- that grew everywhere!

Christmas trees also lined the trail paths...there's nothing like
cool, crisp air and the fragrance of Christmas.

Back in Boston for a few days...
